This is the perfect site for first time kayakers, and those looking to experience nature and city views in a relaxed setting. Maule lake has the best of both worlds, that is, beautiful mangrove islands and tropical vegetations alongside breathtaking city views.

This location features guided kayak tour options for those wanting the company and reassurance of an experience guide, or self-guided tours for those comfortable exploring on their own. The guided tours are limited to the weekends, but the flat waters and mild flow of the Oleta river are so easy to navigate that the self-guided rentals are suitable for first timers too.

If you have your own kayak, your are welcome to bring it too. For the more advanced and experienced paddlers you can follow the map route to “The Rapids” or “The Ruins”. Both locations are accessible from Maule Lake. There is also a “5.5 Mile Circuit” starting on Maule Lake and heading south on the Oleta River until the Intracoastal where you head North and renter Maule Lake on its North East corner by Williams Island.
